Bek: I have a fluff stuck somewhere in my nose
Russ: Is that so
Bek: Hey, do we ALL have nose hairs?
Russ: Yes
Bek: I think sometimes mine get slicked back
Russ: .....
Bek: yeah, sometimes it's like the air gets right in there and my nose hairs are slicked back, and the air hurts my nose cos there's nothing to stop it. The air dries out my nostril 'cos there's no hair to stop it tunnelling. You know?
Russ: .....no....I don't know
Bek: ....yeah, sometimes they just slick back

Wish you were here
I keep telling Russell that I wish I could just hold our baby just once and then put it back to continue it's baking.
Have you ever loved someone so much and not been able to see or be with them? I have. When Russ and I first started dating we were separated for a year! It was torture. While I can feel the baby moving and growing inside of me, I am desperate to hold it and love it in person! I hate not being able to touch it and kiss it. Patience I know, patience.
This is starting to play tricks on my mind though. Last night I dreamt I was at work and the baby was kicking and moving around. I felt my belly and felt an arm 'part'. I grabbed it and was holding it and holding it's tiny little hand.
Then somehow I managed to pull our baby out of my belly!
It was a......................girl.
And she was absolutely beautiful. She had black hair which I styled into a mohawk and she had Russell's beautiful big blue eyes.
I was holding her and playing with her...she didn't have blood or gunk on her, she was completely normal!
Then everyone started telling me I had to put her back. That I couldn't just hold her and play with her, that she needed to go back.
But I wouldn't listen
"No, it's my baby I want to hold her!"
"You can't tell me what to do!!!!"
I was extremely frustrated that people were getting all upset over it! Couldn't they see how happy I was, how happy she was? Everything was fine!
Anyway...the dream kind of ended there and I don't think I tried putting her back, I don't really know what happened. It was kind of weird and I told Russell about it in the morning. He just gives me 'the look' and laughs at me. Kisses me and tells me "soon babe, soon"
Sigh, patience, patience

In bed with bek
I always have, for as long as I can remember, talked in my sleep and also made out the actions.
I forgot to mention this to Russell before we got married and at first I freaked him out a little, but now he is getting used to it.
The first time it happened it was quite an ordeal. We had only been married a couple of weeks and the following occurred late one night.
Bek: *lying on stomach with hands on chin chatting away to the wall* - I thought I was talking to a friend who worked at “The Good Guys”. I turn around and ‘think’ I see Dodgy Pete standing at the end of our bed with a stereo in his arms
Bek: Russell, Russell (urgent whisper - and poking him in the side). Russell, You need to go talk to Pete because I can’t. I’m talking to Georgie.
Russ: Huh, what? Just waking up
Bek: Pete, he’s here, you need to go speak to him. He’s buying a stereo.
Russ: *looks around aimlessly* I can’t see him! (still confused)
Bek: *sound asleep on pillow*
That was the first of many times that I have been awake but still dreaming at the same time. He always tells me about them in the morning.
Like last night –
Bek *lying on stomach and looking around the room – leaning over Russell to see*
Russ: What are you doing
Bek: Looking for something
Russ: What are you looking for?
Bek: A cutting board
Russ: What for?
Bek: To cut things
Russ: What are you wanting to cut?
Bek: *sound asleep on pillow*
I kid you not, these are all true stories! I will let you know of other funny ones. I will never forget the one where Russell was grappling with a curtain one night….ahhh yes…many stories!
Russell really had no idea what he was getting himself into!
