Just started this newy from Rob Bell - "Sex God". Have so far read the first chapter "God wears lipstick" and was really unsure to start off with. Rob got what he wanted though: he got a reaction out of me!! "What a stupid title for a chapter" I complained to Russell, to which his response was "Dont judge before youve read", well I read the chapter, and now Im eating my words.
Fantastic Fantastic!! Ive only read 1&1/2 chapters and Im already recommending it.
Have had no time to read recently, and so have about 1 chapter left of Velvet Elvis, but Ill hopefully finish that one this week. I think Ive taken longer than Russell to read it!
Ive got a head start on him with this book though...

Hey! Before I go out and buy the book, is it like all other Dating/courting/relational books out there on the market? Or does come at completely different angle?
So far it isnt.
Its more about connection with God and how we have all got disconnected relationships.
Its better than any dating book ive ever read. Its coming more so from a biblical perspective than a personal experience.
Thats so far....ive only read 2 chapters now, but it is definately worth a read!!
