Now I know Im going to have all the Eagles fans up in arms, but what an idiot! Im sorry Russell, but I cant pretend to like them :)
If you havent heard the news recently, Mr Cousins is currently suspended indefinately without pay for "breaking team rules". I wonder if they mean 'drugs'. For a young talented athlete to throw away his career like that, he'd have to be an idiot.

Yes, he is an idiot....and this is coming from a one-eyed Eagles fan.
I'm all for the Eagles kicking out problem players....I don't care if they're supposed to be champions. Other clubs can sit there and laugh if they want...but they have just as many problems and at least the Eagles have the balls to admit it.
Last year, I remember Mick Malthouse saying that he'd never discipline players if it meant Collingwood could lose a game. This happened just after two Colligwood players (including new Dorker Chris Tarrant) went on an all night bender and ended up getting into a fight with some other yobbos.
I just found out Cousins was suspended for missing training. Yep he is an idiot!!!

mmm...well they havent admitted anything yet...they say its just because he missed training, but I highly doubt thats the only reason.
I think all clubs have their share of drugs. The eagles are just so arrogant that they think they can get away with anything.

I meant they've admitted that some of the players have drug problems....I don't know any other club has done that.
The Dorkers are so arrogant they think they're squeaky clean (well some of the Freo fans I know do)

as a mad keen eagles fan I am very disappointed:( I love Ben Cousins the player, he gave many a person reason to watch the eagles in our down years. At times, he has epitomised everything that the Eagles stand for...and at other times, like recent years, has epitomised everything that we don't stand for. So sad to see someone so talented in the twilight of their career struggling to keep control of their life.
To be honest...I'd love to see Ben get a new lease on life, take control again and be who God made him to be, he is a very talented man. Spose only time will tell if he can do that!
I agree full-heartedly with you there middo!
Lets hope he gets his life together,
then gets shafted by the weagles, like they shafted Gardiner,
and then the Dockers can pick him up in the 2008 draft to help us win our second premiership :)
BTW all you weagles fans, winning the cup does not make up for all the extraordinarly bad behaviour and bad culture at your club :)
